Today I wanted to talk about one of the most important aspects of this blog, growth. Its something we often overlook as we get older but it is just as important in our adult lives. To take steps to try something new, put time and effort into it, takes a lot mental fortitude as well as motivation. I am starting off on a new journey with art with you all as my witness in hopes of sharing that motivation that someday we grow to bloom our ne found talents into something beautiful like the picture above.

Sense growth can be hard to accomplish on our own i also wanted to talk about a healthy sense of community. A good sense of community helps build comradery and and motivation, especially when trying something for the first time. You may think a welcoming and kind community for ne comers is hard to come by but I am here to share a few with you that I found easily!

Clip Studio and Inktober

Clip Studio is a program used to draw and animate that many people use around the world. It has a wonderfully welcoming and helpful community that is always sharing drawing tips as well as marketing tips for artists. Inktober is a smaller community that is based around a yearly drawing event where many artists participate to draw around prompts that everyone shares. the community is more actively in the month of the event, October, but it is full of fellow artists motivating one another with both words and beautiful pieces.

it is important to know there are millions of people out there picking up a pen for the first time to draw, we grow together. I hope that those reading can see this as a community to share with one another and motivate each other to keep moving forward. The only obstacle in the way of growth is the lack of desire to grow; let us continue to learn together.
